Singular Asthma

Singular asthma is an after effect of a medicine meant to keep asthma in check. Montelukast sodium popularly known as Singular or Singulair is a drug meant for opening of the blocked airways. However, it has been found that this medicine is causing more harm than serving the purpose of curing asthmatic related problems. Please check if any of these symptoms are being exhibited by your system and stop the use of this drug. Singular causes breathing problems, feeling of constriction in the throat. There is irritation, rashes, and the face, tongue and lips are inflamed.  You will experience either a numb feeling or pain.

There will be bruises in your body or open wounds, a flu type of an illness. You will experience your asthmatic condition worsening, with a lot of pain and inflammation of your sinuses also. These are extreme cases. If you are suffering from minor side effects then continue the drug after consulting your health specialist.

The not so acute symptoms are pain in the abdomen or a tummy upset, feeling of indigestion, headache, a weary/exhausted feeling, irritation in your nose, cough or a sore throat. These are some of the side-effects caused by this drug.

There could be several other side-effects also which could be different and a source of worry, like troubled dreams, pain in the abdomen, pain in your teeth, pain and infection in the ear, infection of the skin, swelling of the eye, less or no sleep, difficulty in gulping or swallowing,  laryngitis, a drowsy feeling, pneumonia, a feeling of restlessness, running nose, convulsions, pain in the sinus, inflammation as a result of storage of fluid, swelling in the throat or the mouth, dehydration, a feeling of queasiness, spasms, a state of delirium etc.

The reason for so many side effects of this one drug is that it is preventing the supply of required oxygen to the body. So if you are using this drug and having any of these symptoms, its time to check with your doctor as you may have Singular Asthma and, instead of helping you to control your disease, it is causing you more harm.
